Grandi-Tenori reunion thread

Postby Jimlejim » 06 Jan 2016, 11:18

So who here is from the old days of Grandi-Tenori? I was mostly a lurker, but have fond memories of the forum. I am happy to already see a lot of familiar names here. What has everyone been up to between then and now?
Tenor freak. :D

Hi. I was one of the Grandi-Tenori crew; I didn't say much, but did post from time-to-time.

Well I was an enthusiastic contributor and probably made a fool of myself in the process. Still, you can't be right all the time (my wife, God bless her, sarcastically disagrees !! ). (whatever can she mean !!!!!)
Regards,
Geoff.

Let me just say I am very thankful those old grandi-tenori topics are no longer accessible ... lest I would have to go into a witness protection program!

I followed Grandi-Tenori since its inception to its last days. It was sad that it disappeared from the scene. But like the phoenix, it is rising from the ashes.

I posted quite a bit on the old Grandi Tenori, even got myself banished once or twice!
Thanks Geoff! :P
What happened to Pawel and Gioachino, I miss our discussions!

Pawel is omnipresent; indeed he is the genius behind everything OV.
Gioacchino is way too busy enjoying a very successful teaching career, which includes running a very successful opera program and festival in Sicily and Tuscany. He is always available for discussion on facebook on pretty much any topic your heart desires.

I'm here and Jack might be convinced to drop in once in a while. Though indeed he is very busy!

I used to post on GT from time to time and scanned it quite often. I don't remember my user name though. :?
