Re: Richest and fattest baritone voices
Well, I'm not specifically into the "rich & fat" type of baritone voice. But if only such baritones (instead of "noble & slender") are required, what about the following (apart from Herlea, Ruffo and Bechi, on whose qualities I concur)? In alphabetical order:
- Richard Bonelli, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eg8Vrj6lwn4
- Davit Gamrekeli, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kDIWihwy7Bw
- Andrej Ivanov, http://www.sovmusic.ru/download.php?fname=vozlesad, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OXT7ZYc1Pes

Re: Richest and fattest baritone voices
Not sure what a fat voice is. However, in terms of rich toned baritones here is one. Ettore Bastianini
.
The bass baritone tendency can be heard in this voice particularly at the beginning which I think contributed to a very rich tone. Maybe fat?
Quite a magnificent voice cut off much too early.

Re: Richest and fattest baritone voices
Giorgio Zancanaro, last of the great Italian baritones.
Re: Richest and fattest baritone voices
In my mind the greatest dramatic(darkest, 'fattest', most powerful) baritone was Leonard Warren. He had an enormous range and could modulate that voice to produce the sweetest pianissimos. His opera performances were legendary and his recitals masterful.
Re: Richest and fattest baritone voices
I hate Warren, sorry.
