If it wasn't so riotously funny, you could weep with frustration at this policitally correct nonsense. Where and when will it all end ? Here is one of opera's masterpieces sacrificed on the altar of political correctness. What I find even more appalling is the spineless attitude of those who cancelled the event. The answer to those objectors should have been a healthy and vociferous "go to hell". Society in general has surrendered to these loopy nitwits and serves us right.
